This delicate sculpture, carved from box-tree, embodies the image of Eve—the first biblical character with whom the history of humanity begins.
The sculpture conveys not only the external beauty but also the inner drama of the character. Eve is a symbol of innocence and purity, created from Adam’s rib, but at the same time, she embodies choice, temptation, and the beginning of the path to knowing good and evil. This work is a meditation on the first human, their fragility and greatness, and that fateful moment that forever changed the world.
The sculpture is made from box-tree, 8.2 cm tall.
